The book “Vergiftete Saiten” (Poisoned Strings) and the CD “Gegengift” (Antidote) were conceived as one cohesive visual and conceptual identity. The abstracted Moorish pattern, inspired by a tiled wall in the Alhambra in Granada, embodies the vibrant spirit of Spanish culture that runs through the musician and author’s work, creating a visual and thematic connection between the two works.
Nominated for the Gmund Award 2021.

a matter of perspective
Sometimes, all it takes is a shift in perspective to rediscover the beauty in things.
As with many things in life, this project is all about seeing things from the right perspective. Delicate and subtle, much like the musician himself, a holographic hot foil embossing reveals an ever-changing play of colour, transforming the seemingly understated CD into a shimmering object.
